Day 2
Began our day with a breakfast at the Tiara Labuan Hotel restaurant . The breakfast was nice but with only limited of choices . Morning , spend some time with our own agenda .
Check out from hotel at 12:30 pm . Have our lunch at Restaurant Sabar Menanti . This is one of the best malay reataurant in the town . Spend some time , shopping chocolates and some souveniers for the family . We bought also some frozen seafoods which really fresh and cheap compared to peninsular Malaysia . For info . Labuan Island is a Wilayah Persekutuan , same like Kuala Lumpur , the different is , this island is a duty free island which automatically most of the shopping items are also cheaper .
At 03:00 pm , we left to the airport . While waiting , we have some coffee at the Old Town Coffee restaurant . The airport was new and the design almost the same with KLIA . Our flight MH2609 scheduled to depart at 05:20 pm . The flight really fully booked and we opt to have business class . The services provided really 1st class , thanks to MAS for the hospitality . During the flight , about 1 hour later , I saw a huge island underneath which was understand by the stewardess , it is Natuna Island . For info. this istand belong to Indonesian government and really rich with natural resources ie oil and gas . We arrived KLIA at 07:40 pm after 2hours 25min flight .
Transit for more than 1 hour at KLIA for our next flight to Kuantan . We took next flight MH1286 , which departed at 10:10pm and reached Kuantan Airport at 10:50pm . Next proceed back to hometown by car ( parking fee RM41 ) with safe journey ..............Alhamdulillah !!!!
