Winter trip to South Korea Dec 2011 - Day 1

Day 1 ( Kuantan - KLIA - LCCT - Incheon Seoul )

Everybody in the family were very excited to go to Korea especially my daughter . She really love Korea drama and really like to watch SOneHD channel from ASTRO . Korea in December is winter and cool , so we bought winter jacket and long john from Universal Traveller at The Mall and Winter Time shop , Berjaya Times Square in Kuala Lumpur  . Actually  there are four beautiful seasons in Korea , spring (from March until May ), summer (from mid-June until early-July), fall ( sept to November) and winter ( December till March ). For currency , we change RM to Won ( 10,000 won eq RM 3 )  and USD . Another preparation , we bought some instant noodle ,canned food , some medicine , wet wipe cloth    and empty bottle to fill in water when you used their toilet .

The day has come , we drive to Kuantan Airport to fly with MAS to KLIA . We arrived at KLIA and transfer to LCCT by Van Taxi which cost us RM98 . We board AirAsia , air bus D7504 , direct fly to Incheon International Airport at 2:45 pm  . Total flight fares Return for MAS , RM1800 and AirAsia RM6900 for 6 pax. Thanks to Tony Fernandez's AirAsia , the motto everybody can fly really make most of people can fly .

 We arrived at the Incheon Airport at 8:45 pm ( 6 hours flight ) . Once we touch down and exit the immigration counter , we can feel the cold temperature approx 4 degree , lucky we already prepared ourself with necessary clothing . We went out from airport and heading to Jumbo Taxi terminal ( with the help of mr korean ). We take the taxi to the hotel which we already booked for 7 nights  earlier through Agoda website , the IP Boutique Hotel at Itaewon  . The taxi fare incl tax cost us 92000 won . The hotel cost us RM5000 in total . We arrived at the IP Boutique hotel after 1 hour journey from airport . We got a warm wellcome from the hotel staff . The lobby and the room very nice , with beautiful decorative interior . We have a good night sleep for the night and can't wait for the next morning to explore Seoul .

Near this  IP Itaewon  hotel , you can find a lot of halal restaurant and also near to Seoul Mosque . It also near to subway line#6 and have airport limousine bas # 6060, bus stop just infront of the hotel entrance ,
