Album of Life: Singapore : Holiday in Sentosa Island Day 1

Preplanned to spent our school holiday in Singapore , specially to Universal Studio Sentosa Island for the last 2 months . Got special package for 3D2N in Hard Rock Cafe Hotel for 2 rooms . You can browse through this website rwsentosa.com for details since they always offer special promotions on the selected packages with hotel . Booked the Air Asia flight to Singapore . Before that as usual , I booked MAS from Kuantan to KLIA and followed by taxi to LCCT . As a preparation in advanced , I do booking necessary ticket for the USS via internet including the Universal Express pass for SGD50 per person and also the ticket for the Maritime Experiential Museum & Aquarium .

I did also research from other blogger ie sepul.blogspot , azimsyaarry.blogspot and syarliz.blogspot on their travelogue to Sentosa Island @ USS and Tripadvisor.com as my trip reference . Very important , don't forget to bring empty bottle for restroom usage or you have to clean youself with tissue ! Change the MYR currency to SGD with the change rate of RM2.47 to SGD1.00 .

Day 1 :

The day have come . I drove to Kuantan airport by car and park the car at the airport . We took flight MH1263 , departed at 06:45 am , the plane is B737 800 . We arrived KLIA at 07:30 am and we have our breakfast at the arrival hall , Malaysian Wok restaurant . After breakfast , we took taxi to LCCT . At 11:00 am , we departed to Singapore by Air Asia Airbus . We arrived at Singapore Changi Terminal 1 Airport at 12:30 noon . It is lunch time . I asked the information counter for the halal restaurant , she did recommend the staff canteen situated at the basement . We really enjoyed our lunch over there with some choices of halal foods namely ayam penyet , beriani etc ...

After lunch , we heading to the taxi stand . We have a choice either to take 2 taxi with meters or 1 limousine with flat rate SGD60 . We was offered that option since we are more than 4 person for normal taxi ie my family consist of 6 . But for this trip , we travel only with 5 person since my eldest son have to registered in UiTM on 2nd June , we cannot postphoned this trip coz this been pre booking & pre paid and was not refundable .

Finally we took 2 taxis and proceed directly to Sentosa Hard Rock Cafe Hotel . The journey took us for 30min and cost us SGD21 and SGD24 for the fares respectively . Check in the hotel , we have to wait until 03:00 pm for the room to be ready . The hotel and the room really nice & comfortable . Not so many Malay Malaysian stayed here . The staff really friendly and full of hospitality .

After praying , we went to the Maritime Experiential Museum & Aquarium . Explore the museum and enjoyed our moments over there . Spends 2 hours and next move to VIVO City by train . It tooks us just a few minute to the city . VIVO City actually a shopping complex with a lot of eating places and MRT station at the basement . We have our dinner at B2 basement , halal Chicken rice shop restaurant .

We travelled back to Sentosa Island after our dinner . We stopped and took some photos at the famous globe of Universal Studio . At 09:00pm , we walked to the Bird stage shows . The shows really impressive with colouful and high tech performance . This is one of the best shows that I ever have experienced in my life ......

At 11:00pm , we went back to our HRC hotel for a good night sleep .... end of day 1, with a thousand new experienced in my family life to be remember ...............
