Kota Kinabalu 2012  ... another business trip !!

Kota Kinabalu ( KK ) ... here I come again , and this time it is also for business trip . Still I don't have the opportunity to have holiday with my family ...in KK .. especially to enjoyed the fantastic Mount Kinabalu plus other attractions .. due to timing and other matters .. , insyaallah  ,will make proper schedule on that !  .

I went there for 2D1N . My journey started from Kuantan to KLIA then to Kota Kinabalu  ( return ) by MAS . As usual I used Agoda for hotel booking to have good price . This time I booked Grand Borneo hotel at One Borneo Largest hypermall at KK  . I start the day by car travelling from Kemaman to Kuantan Airport where I parked my car with the fee of RM36 for 2D1N . There are 5 of us in which I am the leader of the delegation . Insyaallah , pray to Allah may our journey safe and our business always in flying colours !

The flight supposed to take off at 10:20 am but due some reason our flight B737 400 delay for almost 1 hours . Well ... its seldom happens for Malaysian national airlines MAS having the delays ... from my ever experienced with them . That day , the delay caused domino effect ..... our flight to KK  also delay for 1 hour . Another rare experienced , I sat side by side with a stewardess who is off duty to KK  and she will stayed at Novotel Hotel at One Borneo and will leave KK the early bird flight next day to KLIA .

She.. stay in PJ , had been with MAS for 8 years ..

We touched down at new KKIA terminal 1 after travelling of 2 hours 15 min flight . Alhamdulillah , we have a save journey . At the airport , we rent a Toyota Avanza for RM250 per day .  At KK , being the city beside the sea , there are many good and fresh seafoods restaurant available . We try one of the restaurant and really enjoyed the seafoods especially the lobster ...most of the seafoods  "king " size.... total cost RM900 ++ .

After dinner , we finally check in our hotel , the Grand Borneo . The hotel is clean and have spacious lobby . Have some problems initially then managed to settled later . My room very clean and surprisingly it is a suite ...worth for the money ... RM271+++ . We have our breakfast at the hotel . You can see the room  view of the Mount Kinabalu .

I have a chance to explore the hypermall . My opinion , YES !! ... this is really the largest hypermall in Borneo . A lot of shoppings shop , eating places , cinema ...and other attractions available over here . There are a lot of hotels too , namely ... Grand Borneo , Novotel , Tune Hotel , Courtyard .... plus the apartments .

At evening of the second day , I left KK to KLIA  then to Kuantan airport and have a chance to try the MAS Golden lounge .... really a wonderfull experienced to get the best hospitality of our own national airlines carrier  M A S !! Overall the business trip was successful ,  only the minus point , I am not feeling well from the start till the end of the journey . Insyaallah back home , will try to take necessary action to improved my health !! .... BYE
