Trip to Kuala Terengganu Day 1

Day 1 :

It is 3 days school holiday , we take this opportunity to have special trip to Kuala Terengganu . Kuala Terengganu is a capital city of Terengganu  , one from 13 states of  Malaysia .  Terengganu situated at the east coast of peninsular Malaysia . It can be reached by air either MAS or AirAsia through the Telaga Batin International Airport and also by land via Lebuhraya Pantai Timur ( LPT ) if you drive from Kuala Lumpur or Singapore . There are a lot of interesting and beautiful places to visit in Terengganu , the beaches , the island ( Kapas , Perhentian and Redang ) as well as Muzium and Monumen . You can browse detail through website www.tourism.terengganu.gov.my

Well , my wife and I both are from this city  , but due to our carreer we stayed in Kemaman . Normally when back to kampong , I stayed at my sister house but for this trip , we booked Hotel Tanjung Vista which is complimentary since I am the member of Orient Reward . Early morning , we have our breakfast at Mak Long De Cafe which is small cafe but have very nice food and very clean .

We start our day travelling  to Kuala Terengganu via jalan Seri Bandi to LPT Bukit Besi . This LPT still free without any tol and we reached Kuala Terengganu after 1.5 hours journey . Our morning agenda , we visited our brother and sister house . We have our lunch at my sister house with beef soup menu which is very nice and delicious .

Afternoon , we start our visit to Muzium Negeri and Taman Tamaddun Islam  . Spend some time over there  , there are not so many people since it is a rainy day . Really enjoyed the visit especially the famous and beautiful  Masjid Kristal . After that , we go to the Water Front and we see a group of tourist enjoyed their picnic but nothing much to enjoy over here since it is raining .What special here , there are a lot of restaurant and children playground .

At 6 pm , we check in at the Hotel Tanjung Vista . We was given non smoking floor , level 12 . The scenery really beautiful , we can see Kuala Terengganu city at every angle including the new reclaiming land for future development . Well at least the state government have a nice vision for better town planning .

For dinner , we go to Restaurant Terapung Muara which is near Bazaar Warisan . We have a light menu such as nasi goreng kampong . At this place at night , the scenery really beautiful where we can see Pulau Duyung and Warisan front .. they are so colourful . After dinner ,we went to the Stadium Negeri where we watched the football match between T team and Sarawak for Malaysia Super league trophy .Congratulation T team won , one nil . But didn't managed to snap picture since it is heavy rain . We concluded our day with a nice good night sleep at the hotel.
