Trip to Bandung Day 5 Part 2

Day 5 Part 2

Transit for 7 hours at KLIA for Kuantan Airport . Dinner at Food Garden . Take MAS flight to Kuantan airport at 10:10 pm . Touch down at 10:50 pm , then drive back to my hometown . Before that pay the parking fee for RM100 for 4 days .

Tips visit Bandung during festive seasons, since it is really "macet" and full of crowd :
1. Booking hotel inadvance , advisable thru agoda website www.agoda.com.
2. Booking transportation inadvance , www.muliarental.com or contact Ms Ratna +628122015474
3. Start your day , early in the morning , breakfast at 6 am , left hotel at 7 am.
4. Have early lunch or dinner , to avoid crowded people .
5. Crossing the" macet" road ... be brave... raised stop sign with your hand ...observed ,the vehicles will slow down and stop ... then with caution quickly cross the road .( better result for one way road direction )

Bye Bye Bandung , insyaallah will come back again ...................

Trip to Bandung Day 5 Part 1

Day 5 Part 1

This is our final day in Bandung . We check out from hotel at 7 am . Then we proceed to Kartika Sari bakery shop , to buy some cookies , cakes and the famous banana keju bolen ( www.kartikasari.com ) . Spend our last ruppiah over here .

At 9 am , we reached Bandung Airport . The check in counter open at 10 am . We dropped our bag at the check in counter . Special note : from my experience always prebook baggage for extra numbers or more weights from departure point or else you will penalise with more money for excess beg or weight .We departed from the airport at 12 noon with Indonesia AirAsia QZ7593 and arrived at 2:35 pm (Malaysian time ) . Surprisingly , we arrived LCCT Kuala Lumpur a head of schedule for 22 min . Give a good applause to AirAsia . Then transfer to KLIA with Van taxi with the fare of RM99.90 per trip .

Trip to Bandung Day 4

Day 4

Today is the shopping day . Morning , we spend our time for almost 5 hours at Pasar Baru . My wife and daughter really looking forward to spends their IDR for shopping at this shopping complex . We arrived earlier at 8 am , then the journey starts !

This Pasar Baru have 6 th floor , the lowest is the wet market .
Basement : Telekung , silk , clothes
1st floor : Telekung , Silk , Clothes
2nd floor : the textile ,
3rd floor : jeans , jacket ,
4th floor : blouse , t shirt , legging .
5th floor : blouse, t shirt , legging ,
6th floor : shoes , handbag , restaurant ! . We have our lunch over here .
At the top : mosque .

After lunch , we proceed to TOKO TAS for the hand bag , TOKO TIGA for jeans , then finally proceed to Rumah Mode for branded clothes . Rumah MODE one of the famous factory outlet prefered by Malaysian tourist . The landscape of this FO really beautiful . Actually it is also a one stop center for shopping where you can buy bags , clothes and almost everything related to dress . When you got hungry , just dropped at the restaurant and foods court at the same compound .

We have our dinner at Restaurant Sederhana for nasi padang again .

Trip to Bandung Day 3 Part 2

Day 3 Part 2

After lunch , we proceed to Trans Studio Bandung . This place not very far from our hotel . The location next to the Bandung Supermall , the biggest and latest shopping complex in Bandung . The Trans Studio is an amusement parks , quiet similar with Genting Highlands in Malaysia . We really enjoyed trying all the amusement grounds over there . The entrance fee is IDR 200,000 per pax for the weekend and festive season .

We have our dinner at Restaurant Sederhana , a really famous for the nasi padang . Finally we went back to our hotel for good rest for tomorrow next trip .......
