Day 2
Woke up early in the morning . Managed to sleep for 2 hours due to the pain but because of the family gathering , I have to be strong enough ie not to spoil their day .
After wonderful breakfast , we start our second day to Merang jetty for our trip to Redang Island . The jetty really just nearby to our resort , but due to a lot of things to be carry , we drive our car to the jetty . It is advisable to park our car at the paid parking area due to safety reason . We have to pay for RM10 per car per day . There are a lot of restaurant , hawkers selling Tshirt and souveniers over here . Also a lot of ferry with different operators a round ,... with some hotel booth .... lot of choice to offer to the tourist ! Would recommend those who want to visit Redang Island , take this route .....
We ride on the boat that we already prebooked , NURUL 3 . We really happy and enjoyed the ride to the island . Unfortunately in the morning , the sea very rough and some of us have sea sickness . Alhamdulillah , after 45 min on the boat , finally we reached the island , Taman Laut Malaysia . The WOW factor really keep out from our mind ! The island really beautiful , the beach really sandy , soft and white . There are so many tourist enjoying the snorkeling ! Actually at Redang island you can find a lot of resort from 3 to 5 star hotel , namely , Coral Redang , Laguna Redang , Berjaya Redang etc.... details you can browse website www.tripadvisor.com
We go out from the boat and find some place to rest .... then .....you can see from the photo ... all our family members enjoyed the beach and the sea . It is quiet dissappointed , I cannot take take photo inside the water since the camera is not underwater camera ... insyaallah ada rezeki , the situation will changed !! For info Redang Island is one of the beautiful island in Malaysia with a beautiful coral and fish . For that day , we really enjoyed ourself ....swimming , snorkeling , eating and rest on the beach ....
At 4 pm , we left the island with the same boat , the ride take us for 1.3 hours , a little bit longer since we have to help the tourist from another boat due to their boat breakdown . Going back to Merang jetty really smooth since the seas much more calmer compared to in the morning .
At night after dinner , the lady members and the kids continue with story telling activity , the man watching badminton tournament and the teenagers enjoying the karoeke . And myself still feeling uncomfortable .....but managed to sleep that night due to tiredness ... Good night to everybody , have sweet dream !!
